Sunset Flower Farm is owned and operated by Linda Matousch-Rau. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Linda obtained a degree in Horticulture from Cumberland County College. She applied her education and talent throughout more than three decades of continuous work in the floral industry. In 2003, Linda opened Loose Cuts Flower Shop in Haddon Township, New Jersey, which specialized in designing unique floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, and every day occassions.
Throughout her career as a florist, Linda has taught floral design and cultivation to students and adults at Holy Savior School, Haddon Township High Scool, and most significantly at Archway Programs, where Linda served as a careers instructor for students with special needs. She continues this public outreach and education on the farm, hosting design seminars, master gardener classes, and local students from the vocational school.
In 2011, to the surprise of their four adult children, Linda and David relocated to a 17 acre farm in Belleplain, New Jersey, which they transformed into Sunset Flower Farm. As the culmination of her productive career, Linda employs all of her accumulated knowledge, experience, and professionalism in the management of Sunset Flower Farm. We pride ourselves in the quality, freshness, and presentation of our cut flowers.
In addition to being Treasurer of the Cape May County Beach Plum Association, both Linda and her husband David are active members of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers and The American Peony Society.
